Safe to run DBCC CHECKDB('DB Name', REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS) against LiveCycle database?

Hi All,

First off, I have ES2, 9.0, SP2  running on a Windows 2008 server (JBOSS) and connecting to a MS SQL 2008 R2 backend.

I've been getting consistent "Attempt to fetch logical page (1:1873902) in database 7 failed.  It belongs to ..." yada, yada.  Everything I've looked through says this is probably a database corruption.  I've check and database 7 is my LifeCycleDB.  Unfortunately, this error has been going unnoticed since April 2014 and is out of out backup cycle.  So, a restore is probably out of the question as a viable fix.

So, my question is, If I use DBCC CHECKDB with REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS and lose data (which I've heard is a very good possibility), will this render my system useless?  Right now, it's causing increasingly frequent problems, but's it's functioning for the most part.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Bromatt
