Never really done an installation of a clustered livecycle setup, so really need help.

Adobe Livecycle ES 8.2 SP3, Weblogic Server (Clustered)
Oracle Database
Each Livecycle application server instance will be installed in separate Weblogic Server of a Clustered environment, which is in different machine in different location.
Expected to host short-lived processes through SOAP endpoint.
1. Is it possible for each of Clustered LiveCycle ES application server instance to have their own GDS folder (local), instead of a shared GDS folder?
Will there be any impact on short-lived processes?
2. Within a clustered environment of Livecycle Application Server, only one database instance is required to be created and used right?
During each of the server installation, the database is only required to be initialize once.
Is there any other steps in the Configuration Manager that is also required to be performed once?
3. Import of new archival files (LCA) have to be performed individually into each Clustered LiveCycle instance or to a particular server?
