LiveCycle ES3 and EmailService

We recently moved from Exchange 2010 to Office 365. I am trying to change the configuration to Email via Office 365 and I am getting the following error -

 

2015-10-28 13:40:48,783 ERROR [com.adobe.workflow.AWS] (http-0.0.0.0-8080-2) An exception was thrown with name com.adobe.idp.dsc.email.ConnectionFailedException message:Failed to connect to email server: <emailaddr>@<emaildomain>@<smtphostaddr> Reason: Can't send command to SMTP host while invoking service EmailService and operation sendWithDocument and no fault routes were found to be configured.

 

Can anyone shed some light on what I can do to fix this issue.

Configuration guides/assistance for using ADFS 3 as an IDP for Adobe LiveCycle ES4

Hi All,

 

Does anyone have any specific experience they would like to share in setting up ADFS3 as an IDP for Adobe LiveCycle ES4? We have the config progressed to a certain point, but are roadblocked a bit with assertion signing. We get the following message in the logs

 

dk.itst.oiosaml.sp.model.validation.ValidationException: The assertion is not signed correctly

 

Any guidance on what a correctly signed assertion should look like according to LiveCycle?

JBoss Starts but Stops Immediately

All

I am trying to do a turnkey installation of LiveCycle 8.2.1 with JBoss yet when I run the Configuration Manager, and at the point at which JBoss gets started, the Configuration Manageer stops stating that it failed to start JBoss.

When I go into Windows Services and manually try to start JBoss, it starts but immediately stops.

Any ideas?

Hello

 

I am using LDAP login wizard from Dreamweaver and I need help regarding to the "Starting String of the server" And what syntax I should use to authenticate since on google I am not able to find any helpful hint. Can some one give me example If forexample my DNS= latitude.longitude.com, User name = Sam Khan. What syntaz would I be following. I really appreciate your help.

LiveCycle Designer won't preview with Reader DC. Preview mode will not work. Attempting to preview gets errors (507:507), (103:103), and sometimes crashes LiveCycle Designer. How do i get preview mode?

I can not get LiveCycle's preview mode to work.  It has worked in the past, but now with Reader DC i can't use preview mode.  How do i get Adobe LiveCycle designer to work with Reader DC?

Internal Server Error message is displayed in Applications Management page

Hi All,

 

We have recently installed AEM Forms 6.1 on one of our server.

 

Server configurations:

Linux Machine

JBOSS 6.2.0 EAP VERSION

JDK 6

 

We are not able to see the deployed applications in Adminui Page.

 

Found "Internal Server Error" message when we navigate to Home > Services > Application and  Services > Application Management

Please let us know what should be done for displaying deployed applications in this Page.

Services failed to start

I'm trying to get an installation running, and while it seems most things are up and running, a few services are failing to start.

 

com.adobe.livecycle.DataTypesUtility and com.adobe.livecycle.PDFUtility fail to start. Their errors are similar:

 

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Component: com.adobe.livecycle.DataTypesUtility version:1.0 must be in a running state prior to starting service: DataTypesUtilityService version: 1.0

 

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Component: com.adobe.livecycle.PDFUtility version:9.0.0.0.20091019.1.220522 must be in a running state prior to starting service: PDFUtilityService version: 1.0

 

How something can be started, before it is started, I'm not sure.

 

The server (open)SUSE, on a 64bit system.

Error 1722 upon installation

Running Windows 10 .. 64 bit system.  I installed Acrobat DC about a month ago with no problems (desktop version ... perpetual license).  I was not happy to find that I no longer had Livecycle (previously had Acrobat 9 Pro), so I bit the bullet and purchased Livecycle.  Upon installation everything seemed to be going fine until right at the end when I got a dialog box stating that the product could not be installed .... error 1722.  How do I resolve this problem?

XML watched folder and process invoke

We are trying to create an application that will merge XML data and pdf form and initiate workflow.
Is it possible with existing components (without need for customization) to
create an process in which we deploy XML files in watch folder and after that the form with populated XML data will occur in "to do list" of particular user?
If you could describe some details I would appreciate!

LifeCycle PDF Generator Linux Confussion

Hi,

Actually I'm quite confused with LifeCycle products. Does PDF Generator is a standalone product? Or it comes with LifeCycle ES? I came across post that said upon installation LifeCycle we can choose PDF Generator. Is it true?

Installing trial LifeCycle ES require Adobe acrobat pro/standard? Im using linux here, I cant find any adobe acrobat for linux. I did found Adobe Distiller Server 8 can be use on linux.

Error ALC-LCM-999-032 when starting JBoss

Hi,

I'm facing this error when deploying LiveCycle ES EARs when it comes to 68% progress the following error shows up:

Error [ALC-LCM-999-032]

Failed on Starting service JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0'

Service startup filed for: JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0

I tried to run the service using command line: net start "JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0" but without luck as the error msg shows as "System error 5 has occurred".

I also tried running JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 service form Windows Services interface and had the following error message:

Windows could not start the JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 service on Local Computer. Error 1930xc1

Can anyone help on what I can do else? Or what are the required environment parameters/setup that I should have on my machine to make it "clean" and ready for the installation?

During the LiveCycle installation, when I configuring LiveCycle ES using Express Mode, it throw error "Service shutdown failed for: JBoss for adobe LiveCycle ESv8.0", error code is "ALC-LCM-999-022" ,and the deploy process can not continue.

So how can I solve this problem?

PDF Generator Out of the Box install does not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the 8.0 version for development testing on a brand new build Win 2K3 Server setup. I have uninstalled and reinstalled like 10x and still I am unable to create a PDF thru the manual Create a PDF section. I get the same error on any postscript I use and these postscripts work fine in my live environment underneath 7.0.1 Version of PDF Generator. What can I be doing wrong in this easy TurnKey setup using JBOSS???

LCES 8.2 Turnkey Install on "Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @2.67GHz 3GB Ram Windows Vista Home 64 bit"

Installed Java 1.5 SE (jdk-1_5_0_16-windows-amd64.exe) then set JAVA_HOME in system variable and set path to JAVA_HOME\bin etc.
During the Turnkey installation process in the LC Configuration Manager screen, process gets stuck with ACL-LCM-999-032 error.
Log from Configuration Manager is below:
Also I can not start the Windows service from Services , tried to set user too to use to start the service but no success please help, I can not proceed further.
Note: I downloaded jboss-4.2.0.GA fresh just to check if I can atleast start the default Jboss container on this machine and I can "run -c all" with no error.

Problem with updating Websphere 6.1 to Fix pack 5 for live cycle ES 7 installation

Hi,
I have installed Websphere Application server 6.1.0.0. Now i want to upgrade to fix pack 5. I downloaded the fix pack from IBM website and unzipped to a folder. But the update installer is not recognising the file. All the recommended updates are displayed as disabled and i cannot proceed further.
Can anyone help solving this problem. I need to install live cycle ES V 7 for which it requires the Websphere application server to be upgraded to fix pack 5.
Please help.

ALC-TTN-104-002: Could not connect to bootstrap servlet, the requested URL was not found on the serv

We are in the process of installing ES2. After the installation gets over the configuration starts correctly, but gets the error 'ALC-TTN-104-002: Could not connect to bootstrap servlet, the requested URL was not found on the server' during the database initialization. Does anyone have a clue as to what causes this and solutions?

I am trying to connect to Adobe Livecycle 8.0 API which runs on remote server. it always ends with this error :

We have also second livecycle server in our company and connection from our java client works pretty fine with that server, so there must be some configuration issue on that 'first server'.
