I would like help imbedding fonts on LiveCycle ES2. I create forms on this program and when the forms are viewed on other computers on "Nitro" pdf reader, the fonts are substituted to whatever is available on those computers. I would like to lock the type in place so that it isn't changed automatically and you can't read half of the form. When searching help, it listed to use LiveCycle Administration Console to embed fonts by visiting:

(JBoss)http://localhost:8080/adminui (local deployment using the default port)

(WebLogic)http://localhost:7001/adminui (local deployment using the default port)

(WebSphere)http://localhost:9080/adminui (local deployment using the default port)

 

None of these work. If there is a way to stop the fonts from changing using LiveCycle, I would like to try. IT department has already looked in to all alternative fixes outside of the program.

I've tried downloading LiveCycle es4 designer from https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=livecycle_designer with no luck..

 

It's only downloading Akamai download manager which gives me a "Launching File Error : SE_ERR_ACCESSDENIED" error(when i click install)..

 

I've already tried installing with IE 11, Firefox and Chrome.i also cleared cache on all three browsers,enabled pop-up windows, enabled cookies and increased cache limit to 500Mb.

 

Thanks in advance for any form of assistance.

Hi,

I am a Mac user, using Yosemite version 10.10.5. I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.008.20082.  "CoolType error 'CT bad param: invalid glyphID'.pop up every time I try to fill in a word in a form , anyone can help me solve the problem. Thanks

I have been prompted to purchase Adobe LC when it feels like I have already done so several times. My key is 1139-1005-5460-2358-5549-4863 so why do I need to purchase again. If I need to buy please provide the link as there does not seem to be a clear link to buy and install ES4.

I have installed ES4 as trail version. When trying to deinstall - im am getting an error message with the reference to contact the support desk. Error message is in regard to an incomplete component which cannot wipred away and therefore blocks the whole process.

I am looking for some guides for integrating LiveCycle with IIS. We have a stand alone server and need to be able to access the pages created with LiveCycle externally. We are currently using a Windows 2008 R2 server. Would IIS be the best way to create external access or is there another way to proceed? Thank you!

We have created a few PDF (XFA) forms using the Adobe LiveCycle ES4 Forms Designer (the tool that costs $299). We need to convert and also save those XFA PDF forms into HTML format.

After reading a few posts, we believe that the LiveCycle server gives that option. But there is no proper guidance for this. How do we do install that?

 

We have followed this link but it so confusing.. there is not straight answer –https://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/mobile-forms/upgrade-livecycle-es4.html

A proper guidance will be appreciated.

I purchased LiveCycle Designer in 2011 via adobe's website. I made this purchase along with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Now I'm looking to possibly reformat my hard drive, and when I lose my programs I want to be able to reinstall them. When I go under products in my account, Adobe Acrobat Pro shows up, but Livecycle Designer does not. What can I do to ensure I can re-download and install my software after I reformat?

Hello,

 

we have a Livecycle ES4 turnkey installation on Winows Server 2008.

 

Sometimes documents in watched folder are correctly copied to stage subfolder, but then the process get in troubles with errors like this:

 

com.adobe.idp.DocumentError: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\aWatchedFolder\stage\Wxfd67473f1c8ad40cc552e8f9\03_0102.XML (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process)

 

We have checked folder permissions, they are OK; the problem occurs randomly, for example we create 40 XML in a watched folder, 37 are processed, and 3 hangs. If you copy the 3 hanged XML in the input subfolder again, they are processed correctly. We have tried to set up the watched folder so that it processes only 1 file sinchronously; the problems seems to reduce, but sometimes appears again.

Has anyone encountered this and do you have a solution? we have tried modifying several websphere timeout value settings with no success.

 

We are working with LiveCycle ES3 (10.0) running on a Linux server hosted in WebSphere 8.0.

Dear Support

 

I am using adobe live cycle Designer ES2.  In this I have configured the submit button with email ID (texivd.maldives@tajhotels.com).  But when I have distributed the form and open the distributed file and fill the form and submit the same.  After submit the same it taking some default email ID of my email ID (Chandra.sekar@tajhotels.com).

 

Please advice how to change the email ID

I am a little confusing about the purpose of using Local Credential and Certificates in AdminUI/Setting/Trust Store Mangement.

These two thing looks to import certificates, but what is the defference and each purpose?

Can LiveCycle be installed on an existing Oracle Database?  Does it create it's own schema?

I am setting up the Adobe LiveCycle Server, I would like to confirm the Adobe LiveCycle can use the Microsoft Windows 2008R2 WLB (Windows Load Balancer) or the Adobe LiveCycle MUST use the Hardware NLB for Cluster (HA).

 

If the Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 (WLB) can work, unicast mode or muticast mode support the Adobe LiveCycle cluster ?

We  have java based web application and planning to use adobe life cycle for filling pdf forms through our application.

 

Below are high level requirements

1. User will create PDF template by uploading an existing PDF (scanned document), and then drag user-defined fields over PDF ( for example Name, address etc.).

2. Once template is defined, any user can select saved template and fill online. note that all dragged field's content need to merge with PDF document and then PDF needs to be shown in fillable form so that user can fill online.

 

Let me know if adobe life cycle has any built in java API that can be used and share me licensing information.

My installation is failing with the following error.

 

java.lang.Error: Probable fatal error:No fonts found.
