taborder issue

Hi,

I use Adobe Livecycle Designer and have still an issue with the taborders of my forms.

All elements which not need to be tabbed are still in the tabqueue when I tab over the fields.

 

I used the following workaround:

1. set tab sequence on automatic

2. set tab sequence back to custom and make applicable changes

 

I use the forum id: Tabbing order problems to solve this.

 

But when I had saved the form and opened it, the custom set tabs are made undone.

 

What do I do wrong?

 

How do I set not fillable fields hide from taborder?

 

Anyone has a clue?

Adobe Livecycle ES2 and ES4 Won't Recognize MS Word 2013

Hi. Can someone please tell me what I have to do in order to create a new file from an existing Word document?

I keep getting the same error:

Word (version XP or onwards) could not be found on the machine

I have a 64-bit version of Word 2013 installed.

I was hoping SP1 for ES4 would solve the issue but it doesn't appear to have helped.

I'm not sure what to do here...

Hi,

                  I have installed LiveCycle ES4 SP1 on Redhat linux, and whole install & config process goes smoothly, however, when I try to hit url http://HOST:PORT/pdfgui

I get following error, which mention that pdf service is not deployed. Please refer image below, while installed I did choose (in 'Modules' page of installer) PDF Generator ES4. Please update how to check whether PDF generator is installed or not, or this error is due to some other underlying issue, also how to remedy this.

 

The LiveCycle PDF Generator services are not deployed on the

   server. Please contact the system administrator.

Urgent - Livecycle - Being told that they are still processing my order

The message appears saying it can take upto 24 hours it has been more than 24 hours now and I really need to be able to download and use this program.  The UK office is now shut and was told that I can go to adobe.com/get support and all I can see is that I have been sent here and from what I can tell there does not seem to be anybody from adobe answering the queries.  Can anybody suggest a work around.  many thanks

LiveCycle ES4 WebLogic 12.2 support

Hello,

 

The highest release of WebLogic that LiveCycle ES4 SP1 supports is 12.1.1 according to the Adobe LiveCycle ES4 supported platforms guide .  WebLogic 12.1.1 will end Premier support in December 2017 (18 months).  Are there any plans to support WebLogic 12.2 in the near future? We are planning an upgrade to ES4 this year and would prefer not to have to upgrade the WebLogic platform for it next year.

Does anyone install LCES workbench 11 on Windows 10?

Company got me a new machine with Windows 10 and ties to install the workbench on it, but got an error message :

" Installer User Interface Not Supported. The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use -I command-line option.  followed by the UI mode identifier.  The valid UI modes identifiers are GUI.  Console. and Silent."

Help managing Adobe_LiveCycle_ES3\jboss\server\lc_sqlserver_cl\tmp with 30GB of files

I'm looking for assistance on managing this folder path as it is consuming 30GB of space on the drive in 70,000 folders and 448,000 files.   These files and folders go back to it's installation in 2013.   There are current files/folders. 

 

Is this space safe to clean up through scripts?  is there a process in place within LiveCycle to manage the cleanup?

installing LCES on RHES but stuck at "Creating uninstaller..."

Hi there,

I'm installing the trial LCES on RHES but stuck at "Creating uninstaller...".
The progress bar is working so it seems the installer is not frozon though.
But anyways, I've been waiting for over 10 hours but nothing changed. ;(

Has anyone got the same problem ?

Here is the description of my system --------

OS version: ( % cat /etc/redhat-release )
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.1 (Tikanga)

Java version: ( % java -version )
java version "1.5.0_15"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_15-b04)

Problem using the PDF Printer driver in LC ES 8.2

I have a problem making the PDF Generator Printer driver work. I am able to print a document, and it is successfully converted to pdf, but the send email service fails. The error message is:

Livecycle ES 8.2 Form Java API question - Adobe Livecyle ES running in Weblogic 9.2

not sure what forum to post this message in, so I will try here. Hopefully, someone can either assist me with the question, or point me to a better location to post. We are using the Java API (via EJB) to communicate with our Adobe Livecycle ES server (8.2). We only have two services installed (Forms and Output service) on our server. Our Adobe server environment is Solaris 10 and Weblogic 9.2. I am running a sample client app to make the calls to the adobe livecycle server. I am running my sample app in Jboss (the same server that comes with the turnkey install). I intially tested my sample app communicating with my local turnkey install (same JBOSS - so my client app and the adobe livecycle server were running on the same machine and were local to each other). everything was working perfect. then I tried to connect my same client app (running in jboss) to our remote adobe livecyle es server (again, weblogic running on solaris). I am getting a completely useless error in the jboss logs (see below). Here is a list of my jar files in my classpath:

adobe-utilities.jar (weblogic specific)

I am not really sure what else I need to do to get my client app to remotely connect via EJB to our Adobe Livecycle ES server.

I know that I have a classpath issue (although, I am not sure why I didn't have the same problem when connecting to the jboss adobe livecycle server). I also wasn't able to locate this class in question (org/apache/log/format/Formatter) in any of the adobe jar files. I tried dropping in logkit.jar in my classpath, but still didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

I am trying  to upgrade to Adobe ES 8.2 from 7.2. Any help would be appreciated.

 

When I am  trying to initialize the LiveCycle ES database, in Configuration Manager, as  depicted in <Upgrading to LiveCycle ES from 7.x fro JBoss> document, page  27, step 36, I got error: Failed on step 'Invoking component bootstrapper' of  task 'Bootstrapping UserManager'. ALC-TTN-103-000: Bootstrapping request failed  on server. Message from server: ALC-TTN-011-003: Bootstrapping failed for  platform component [User Manager]. The wrapped exception message reads: Failure to  loadConfiguration default. error:javax.ejb.EJBException: RuntimeException;  CausedByException is:

             nullgetProvider failure: factory not initialized

How to increase XMLForm servicing thread for enhancement in performance of livecycle server?

Hi,

 

When we are generationg PDF using outputES service XMLForm thread are coming which are providing PDF reply.

 

But this XMLForm thead are not increasing with more number of request.

 

CPU usage is also not going high,so its under utilization of resources.

 

Provide some way so that this XMLForm Service thread can be increased and response time can be reduced with better utilization of CPU.

 

Environment description is as below.

 

OS :- Red Hat Linux

Server :- JBOSS

Database :- Oracle

 

Any reply is highly appreciated as it will be useful for all who want to enhance the performance of livecycle.

IDPSchedulerService - org.quartz.JobPersistenceException: Couldn't acquire next trigger

We have a LCES 8.2.1 install on a WebSphere App Server 6.1.x on a windows platform.

The database used is DB2.

 

Recently we have not been able to start the LiveCycle ES app server. We issue the startServer command and it remains in start in-progress indefinitely. The SystemOut shows the following error.

 

It looks like its trying to recover some old job info, but then threads hang and the server never start.

 

What may have caused this problem?

How can we clean the Job store or DB2 database, if that is the cause of the problem?

Is there some table(s) used by the IDPSchedulerService during startup that can be examined...and maybe be cleaned up?

 

Any help or pointers appreciated.

Cannot start JdbcService

Hi,

 

ADEP, Document Services 10.0,  Windows Turnkey Installation.

 

JDBC is stopped an won't allow me to restart it at the ADMINUI.

 

I checked the logs and no errors I can see. I have restarted Livecycle/Jboss. Rest of system working fine

 

Any ideas or things to check ?
