Hi, I have a JBoss server and I can access /adminui and /workspace options runing in my local server or with RDP but when I try using a router I just view a Error 403.
I try to use Home >Settings >User Management >Configure Allowed Referer URL's ( /um/ConfigReferer.do ) but don't work...I try to access to /adminui and /worskspace using a router with 8080 port but I can view just some options of /adminui.
Can anybody help me?

We're installing LiveCycle Designer es4 and getting error 1722 for imagefilebrowseridl.dll. Any idea why this is happening?
We already have Adobe Reader XI, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and Adobe Web and Design Premium 6 installed.
It looks like when we installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI that the designer software was removed. That is why we are trying to install the new version of designer but are running into this error.

I am trying to download and install Livecycle Designer ES. I get the installer file titled, Adobe%20LiveCycle%20enterprise%20Suite%204%20%2D%20Designer-AkamaiDLM.exe. I run that installer and it installs Akamai NetSession, and stops. I don't know how to get the actual Livecycle Designer trial software.
I have spoken with several people at Adobe only to be transferred again and again to an automated phone system where i have to explain myself over and over again. Is there a trial version of Adobe LiveCycle ES4 Designer. I would like to see the product before purchasing something.

I am using the Trial version of LiveCycle ES 2.5 w/ SP2, version 9.0.0.2.20100902.2.246889. Turnkey install Express Mode, on Windows-7/JBoss/MySQL platform.
I noticed something strange in JBoss's server log (see below), and would like to know what's going on.
After I changed the administrator's password, I restarted "JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES2" in Windows' Services. About 6 minutes after the JBoss completed its start-up, there's a WARNing message in the log saying Authentication failed for user administrator, password incorrect.
During all that time, there's absolutely no human activity on the server. Nobody tried to login or did anything.
If I change the password back to its default "password", and restart it again, then there's no such warning message at all.
Makes me wonder perhaps there's something has the default password hard-coded somewhere???

Currently we are using a JBoss 4.0.3 to create PDF forms with LiveCycle ES. We would like to evaluate if we can upgrade the whole environment. Therefore I would like to know if it is possible to use the new versions ES3/4 with a current JBoss 6/7?
I also would like to know if it is possibile to use a Java version like 6 or 7. Currently we are using Java 5.
I don't found any of these information on adobe's website.

I'm having issues uninstalling Livecycle.
I am getting Error 1722. There is a problme with the windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.
Has anyone else had this issue?
If so, how do I then uninstall this software?
I am trying to put together the most basic POC for LiveCycle ES4 with MS SQL 2008 R2 and am having no luck. I have follow multiple tutorials from both Adobe and third parties and cannot get the most simple data connections to happen.
Objective: Create a form with First Name and Last Name fields so that the field data can be stored in and retrieved from a MS SQL server
Configuration: Server: VM with Windows 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 R2 Client: Windows 8 local host with LiveCycle ES4 installed
For the server I followed the guidelines established by Adobe http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/11.0/PrepareInstallSingle/lc_prepare_install_single. pdf in Chapter 4
On the client i created an ODBC connection and successfully tested it.
In LiveCycle when i attempt to add a new data connection by right-clicking in the data view pane I do the following:
Select New Data Connection...
Give it a name (pdfpoc10)
Select OLEDB Database then click Next
Click Build on the Connection String
Select the Connection tab
Select my ODBC connection in the Source Data drop-down
In spite of having already put UN/PW info into the ODBC connection, I have to enter it again here in the UN/PW boxes
Test the connection, get a success message then click ok
In the resulting OLEDB Connection window the connection string is populated
IF I select Table - there is nothing there. Any entry will result in an error
IF I select SQL Query (preferred) and enter the following query: SELECT * FROM pdfdata I get the response "Could not execute the query "SELECT * FROM pdfdata"
I have tried several variations on this theme including:
SELECT * FROM pdfdata;
SELECT * FROM [pdfdata]
SELECT * FROM [pdfdata];
SELECT * FROM pdf_poc.dbo.pdfdata
SELECT * FROM pdf_poc.dbo.pdfdata;
SELECT * FROM [pdf_poc].[dbo].[pdfdata]
SELECT * FROM [pdf_poc].[dbo].[pdfdata];
All with the same result. When I execute the same query from inside SQL I get the result set I am expecting.
BTW: the SQL DB only has one table called "pdfdata" which only has three columns: id, first, last. The data exists in two rows: 1,Buggs,Bunny 2,Daffy,Duck
What am i missing to make this connection?

I'm evaluating the feasibility of a software solution based on Adobe Lifecycle and I will appreciate some explaination.
I'm sorry for lack of knowledge about that specific technology.
Through the use of a web platform I need to distribute (by download and/or emails) some flowable pdf modules. Final users insert data and images inside modules.
Then I need to have those data (structured inside a database) and the correspondents final printable PDFs.
Does Adobe Livecycle provide the direct connection to my input database?
I read the Adobe LC docs and I know that usually the final user re-send the PDF module via email and then it's uploaded inside the server to register data and images....but the reasons cause I want a direct connection to my database in realtime are:
1) I have not the warranty / certezza that final users will send back me the module.
2) I need to monitor the progress of works of all my users. The pdf is about 20-30 pages, so I need to know at which status of work each user is... and which fields they have edited and which not.
3) My user are not skilled in computer science so I don't exclude that they return me a wrong copy of PDF (this is a minor requirement).
In case it could be connect PDFs directly to database, ... could be a vulnerable solution because of the exposure of database on the web?
Otherwise... If is not possibile ... do exist alternative solutions that satisfy my needs?
N.B. I cannot ask to final user to make some tecnichal or specific system configuration of their desktop. The final user are not in my intranet and I don't know which operating system they use... Yes, I can put some "minimal system requirement" to use my service, but I cannot ask them not-usual or un-conventional system configurations. The users are not skilled in computer science, so the solution has to do as easy & smart as possible.

My boss put Acrobat Pro XI on my Mac, I need the lifecycle to edit a form but don't know how often I'll need this tool. When I tried to download the trial, it didn't seem to support mac OS, what is the deal?
I would like help imbedding fonts on LiveCycle ES2. I create forms on this program and when the forms are viewed on other computers on "Nitro" pdf reader, the fonts are substituted to whatever is available on those computers. I would like to lock the type in place so that it isn't changed automatically and you can't read half of the form. When searching help, it listed to use LiveCycle Administration Console to embed fonts by visiting:
(JBoss)http://localhost:8080/adminui (local deployment using the default port)
(WebLogic)http://localhost:7001/adminui (local deployment using the default port)
(WebSphere)http://localhost:9080/adminui (local deployment using the default port)
None of these work. If there is a way to stop the fonts from changing using LiveCycle, I would like to try. IT department has already looked in to all alternative fixes outside of the program.
