Hi we have a weblogic clostered installation of LC ES2 on Linux and we're recieving a weblogic error when trying to start it up

A solution that we found in the installation manual is caused by different version of xercesImpl with JBoss AS 5 and suppose to use classloader.

We use classloader as

What's the correct way to resolve this issue? As without classloader we are getting the xercesImpl and xml-apis conflict which we need both of them. Thus xercesImpl is removed from the lib.

I have inherited LiveCycle duties at my company.  The person who the license is assigned to is no longer with the company.  I have the serial number for the product and would like to remove it from the system that it is on currently and install it on my system.  What is the best way to go about doing this?

Hi,

I'm trying to deploy the adobe livecycle ears to a hardened weblogic, but for some reasons some jars/classes are not found.

If I try to deploy the same ears to an weblogic base domain, I do not see this error.

Any ideas what could cause this issue? Could you maybe provide me with further information which ear is involved in that issue, so that I can take a closer look at the classpath.

I recently purchased Adobe Pro DC. Once installed I discovered that LiveCycle no longer comes with the product. I previously had LiveCycle ES2 with Acrobat 10.

I spoke to Adobe Technical who advised that I would have to purchase LiveCycle Upgrade and to contact sales.

I tried the 800 685 3644 number but it does not connect. I rang the main sales line to be told LiveCycle was no linger required but if I had any questions I would have to call the 800 685 3644 number. I informed them that this number did not work but was told it was the only number they had.

Does anyone know if LiveCycle is still available and if not what product has it been replaced with as I am getting sent round in circles at the moment.

I have installed Abobe Livecycle ES2, but when i get into "http://localhost:8080/adminui "  and then click ->Services ->LiveCycle PDF Generator ES2  .the page is empty.

the same as i  click ->settins->User Management.

JBoss does not connect all the times during server re-boot.  The errors on the log are listed below.  It looks like the ports are in use, but re-starting the JBoss service or the server will resolve the connection issue.  This problem does not occur all the times.  Sometimes JBoss starts without any problem.  This is a Windows Server 2003 and SQL 2005 environment.

I wonder if someone else has been running into this kind of issue.

Now and then, for some reason I've not yet understood, Jboss crashes when I start the service and complains about i(nsuficient disk space (there is 56 GB free disk space).

So I shut the computer down and start it again - and there is almost no disk space left! Why is that?

It has happened several times in the last few days (hadn't happened before) and the only new stuff I've included were the Interactive Statements files and LC ES2.5 updates, nothing else.

Sometimes when I check the available disk space again the 56 GB are back there...

After checking "Adobe LiveCycle ES4 Supported Platforms" page I see only Red Hat 6 being listed as a supported platform, as this is aged quite well now, I wonder if and when Red Hat 7.0 or 7.1 will be added as a supported platform.

Have anyone tried an installation on Red Hat 7.x and had any success? Will it be a supported platform in the near future?

The incident starts after all the members are removed from the DCS Stack DefaultCoreGroup view and added back again by WebSphere Application Server. Following exceptions are seen after LiveCycle was added back in again to the view.

We have a clustered environment with two nodes 2A and 2B. Server 2A crashed and therefore all members on 2B node were removed from the DCS view. Later the new core group view was installed but LiveCycle did resume operations as expected.

JDBC is stopped an won't allow me to restart it at the ADMINUI.

I checked the logs and no errors I can see. I have restarted Livecycle/Jboss. Rest of system working fine

I'm trying to install a trial of LiveCycle server 11.0.1 on my PC with Windows 7 Enterprise OS, 8GB RAM, 64 bit.  I've successfully done the installation plus the patch, but get the following error when trying to complete the configuration via Configuration Manager:

The error happens when the status of Configuration Manager is "Initializing the LiveCycle ES4 Database."  I should mention I'm using the "Express Mode" configuration.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Does anyone install LCES workbench 11 on Windows 10?

Company got me a new machine with Windows 10 and ties to install the workbench on it, but got an error message :

" Installer User Interface Not Supported. The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use -I command-line option.  followed by the UI mode identifier.  The valid UI modes identifiers are GUI.  Console. and Silent."

I've tried to manually uninstall the validator ear and re-run CM but still gets the same error. any help on this?

Is it possible to create a LC user group and batch add users to the group?

Example:  I have ~120,000 users in my domain but I want only 950 of those users to have access to a new form we will be going live with soon.  To do this I want to create a group for this form but I don't want to have to manually add the 950 users to the group.

I am manually deploying the ears for LiveCycle ES2 (on a websphere/oracle cluster).  When I try to deploy adobe-livecycle-websphere.ear, I get the following error on the websphere console.

The exception com.ibm.websphere.management.application.client.AppDeploymentException: WSWS0011E: Caught an exception while trying to get an InputStream for file WEB-INF/webservices.xml in module um-scheduler.war,WEB-INF/web.xml. The exception is java.lang.NullPointerException. [Root exception is java.lang.NullPointerException] occurred. Check log for details.

I am just installing the PDF Generator on the cluster.  I am able to deploy the adobe-livecycle-native-websphere-x86_win32.ear and the

adobe-assembler-ivs.ear without any problem.  They are both installed and running. 

This is the only ear that is failing (both manually and through the config manager).

There is no additional information in the system and error logs.  Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
