Hello,

I downloaded and installed AEM 6.0 on a Windows 2012 Server and we are having trouble with one of the application when invoking a process through a java(API) call to the ejb:1099.  It keeps failing with the error below:

One of the thing I have noticed on the server is port 1099 is not being used or listened.  I used the TCPView to validate what ports java is using and none of them is using port 1098 or 1099 as previous versions (9, 10 and 11).

I have spent a few days trying to troubleshoot it but no luck.  Here the steps I have tried.

1: Added <socket binding? for jnp to port 1099

2: changed the api to call port 4447

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES3 to design forms, and more precisely labels that are printed on a Intermec PM43c printer. SAP Intermec Drivers comes up with a standard ipl203.xdc file that have been modified in order to fulfill our requirement, which is to be able to print Arial text on labels. Since Arial is not a resident font, it has been uploaded on the device. The assigned IDs are:

- c03 Arial

- c04 Arial Bold

Printing using direct IPL commands on the printer works well with the Arial font, however, when sending designed forms to the printer (the SAP drivers converts the form data to IPL command), the result is far from expected.

First changes on the XDC file:

I added the missing fonts in the <pdl> section of the XDC file:

After referencing the fonts in the XDC file, I realized that the Arial and Arial Bold font were replaced by the UNIVERS resident font c61 before printing, which means there was a problem with the font definition (the sent IPL commands can be seen on the printer line analyzer tool).

Second changes:

Since the first changes made on the XDC file did not lead me to the expected result, I spendt time digging on the Adobe Livecycle documentation and tried to comment the following line:

<rasterSubstitutionFont typeface="Intermec Swiss 721_Normal_Normal" unicodeRange="U+20-U+FF"/>

Indeed, the Intermec Swiss 721 Normal correspond to the UNIVERS resident font on the device.

The result is that by now, I can see that the used font is c03 and c04 as expected, but the font size in output is way larger than the size 8 set on the designer side.

=> Does anyone know why the font size is increased at printing level ? Am I missing something ?

I purchased LiveCycle Designer ES2 and have a valid serial key.  However for whatever reason Adobe has decided to make it impossible to find the download now.  I can find any CS version back to version 1 but, cannot find the install for a product from 2014.  This is absolutely crazy!  Not sure how customers are expected to reinstall a version of the software which was only available online to begin with.

please post the download link so I can use the software I purchased.

Our organization purchased ES4 two years ago and installed it on Windows 7 workstations.  We are now looking to upgrade the OS to Windows 10.  I am testing the installation on an isolated test network and have attempted it on virtual workstations (using VMware 5.5) as well as a physical workstation, all running Windows 10.  It seems to progress just fine until time to enter the license key.  I enter our key (again, purchased 2 years ago) and after chewing on that for several minutes it returns an error saying the key is invalid.  Does this installation require internet access?  Other reason the license key would become invalid?  Windows 10 compatibility?

I'm sorry for starting a new topic with a quite common problem but in my case it differs a bit from all of them that were asked on this forum before.

I'm testing an upgrade procedure from es3 to es4. First of all I installed sp2 and all worked very good at that point. After that I performed an in-place upgrade. All passed very well, but now I'm getting an ALC-WKS-007-027 error when I try to start a task which loads a form via Workspace. In server logs I see (I cut log a bit):

All messages are quite common and general but not the selected line. Google pointed me to that blog and I started to think that I made upgrade in a wrong way and the problem is in my database and I need to initialize it. I made it before but decided to re-run LCM again - still without any effects. I did that upgrade with the official upgrade guide help so I even don't know what's the reason can be and how to fix it. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to set up a send mail task, but even after setting the taks properties or/and the server settings (SMTP server, e-mail address), I still get the following error message:

I'd like to appolgize in advance if my question is not clear enough.

I'm deploying the LiveCycle ES on WebSphere on a remote Linux server, connecting to Oracle 11g database and I can successfully access the LiveCycle console.

I'm facing a problem deploying the LiveCycle components (jar files), all files are successfully deployed except for (adobe-launchpad-assets.lca).

I get an error "failed to deploy LCA /opt/adobe/adobe_livecycle_es2/deploy/adobe-launchpad-assets.lca"

I also get another error for (adobe-auditworkflow-dsc.jar), saying that it is deployed but not running.

I tried solving the problem by restarting the application server and re-deploy the jar files, but no luck.

If there's anything else I should be providing, please just tell me what it is and how i can find it.

I happen to be modifying the application adobe livecycle luanchpad ES2 which as you know it is an air application that lets you convert files to PDF and vice versa, I am translating the language of the application to Spanish, that and I could make and build the executable my project to install on my machine, it turns out that wing run the file everything runs well but in the end of the installation I get the following error:

The application not could be installed. Try Installing it again. If the problem Persists, contact the application author. Error # 0

someone could help me with this, it seems that the error is inherent in the construction as such .air or maybe is because you do not have certain parameters or files.

I have downloaded the LiveCycle ES3 trial however when I go to install, I am asked for a serial number and cannot proceed until I have entered one.

I can find a serial number for the ES2 trial but it doesn't work with ES3 and I cannot find one anywhere!
