Memory threshold exceeded

Hi,

 

I am using LiveCycle ES2.5, Turnkey Install, Express mode.

 

Just got the following message in the JBoss server log file, how to fix it?

Using Microsoft Network Load Balancing for Livecycle ES 2/2.5 with JBoss clustering?

Hi,

 

Has anyone tried using Microsoft NLB for Livecycle with JBoss clustering and get it working? Able to login to livecycle's admin ui page with the NLB IP

 

My enviroment:

- 2 jboss application server (different IP address)

- Horizontal clustered

- LC ES2 installed on both servers

 

 

For those who setup successfully, hope you can share your experience.

Error 403 JBoss

Hi, I have a JBoss server and I can access /adminui and /workspace options runing in my local server or with RDP but when I try using a router I just view a Error 403.

 

I try to use Home >Settings >User Management >Configure Allowed Referer URL's ( /um/ConfigReferer.do ) but don't work...I try to access to /adminui and /worskspace using a router with  8080 port but I can view just some options of /adminui.

 

Can anybody help me?

I get this warning in my Jboss log :

Configuring the application server to use HTTP proxy server

Hi,

 

I am trying to configure LiveCycle ES2 to access services over the internet and since my Livecycle server connects to internet through a Proxy server, I have referred to section 5.8.2 of LiveCycle install_weblogic.pdf that states the following:

 

 

If the computer that LiveCycle ES2 is running on uses proxy settings to access external web sites, the

application server should be started with the following values set as Java virtual machine (JVM)

arguments:

 

-Dhttp.proxyHost= [server host]

 

 

-Dhttp.proxyPort=

[server port]

 

 

 

However, I am getting the below exception while running the LC application as my Proxy server requires User credentials to connect to the internet:

 

weblogic.net.http.HttpUnauthorizedException: Proxy or Server Authentication Required.

 

I tried providing the below JVM startup argument too, but no luck:

 

-Dhttp.proxyUser= [proxy user]

-DhttpPassword= [Proxy password]

 

Can you please suggest how to configure User credentials for the Proxy server in Livecycle.

"Post successfull" Error when trying to download LiveCycle ES4 Designer

I'm using Firefox 36, on a Windows 7 Professional machine, trying to download a trial version of LiveCycle Designer from this page: Learn LiveCycle | Adobe LiveCycle Developer Center

 

When I click the Download link, I go to the EULA page.  When I accept, I get to the download page displaying the trial serial number.  The instructions say to select the desired language and enter the serial number.  I entered my State and Zip in the required fields on the right, select English Windows, but there is no place to enter the serial number.  When I click Download, I get a page saying only "Post successfull"

 

I get the same results using IE 11.

 

Any ideas?

Hi,

I'm developing a small project in java, it's a desktop application.

This application has to populate a PDF document. The PDF document has
been developed using LiveCycle with a dynamic XFA form.

Regarding to the LiveCycle API documentation. This has to be necessarily connected to the LiveCycle server to populate the PDF document.

I like to populate the PDF document without connect my application to LiveCycle server.

I tested the XPAAJ library and it's good for me. But Adobe doesn't support more this library.

Please, could you tell me where/how I could buy that library? Could someone sell an old licence of the XPAAJ library?

Exception: "Could not validate SAML Token"

We have an evaluation system setup that we are using to generate PDF from PS. We're connecting via the EJB client, and typically have had no problems. Until today. At some point today we began seeing exceptions being thrown on the client:

 

Caused by: com.adobe.idp.um.api.UMException | [com.adobe.idp.um.api.impl.AuthenticationManagerImpl] errorCode:16421 errorCodeHEX:0x4025 message:Could not validate SAML Token --- Assertion has expired and hence not valid for user [administrator@DefaultDom]. Its valid till time [Tue Feb 04 10:58:45 MST 2014] was found to be before the current time [Tue Feb 04 16:04:41 MST 2014]

 

Simply bouncing the app server where the client code is running solved the problem, however we'd like to better understand what is going on and why. Nothing that I can find in the docs seems to indicate the cause/solution, and possible solutions have links that appear to no longer function: http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Renewing_the_context_to_handle_session_expiry-16410.html

 

Any suggestions and/or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm running Windows 7 and seem to have successfully downloaded 3 times, but when I try to install it quits part way through. It says English.cab is missing -- although that shows up in the downloaded folder. I've gone through the troubleshooting page, changed browsers, enabled cookies and pop-ups. Not sure what else to do. Suggestions anyone?

Failed to deploy LCA

Hello,

 

I'd like to appolgize in advance if my question is not clear enough.

 

I'm deploying the LiveCycle ES on WebSphere on a remote Linux server, connecting to Oracle 11g database and I can successfully access the LiveCycle console.

I'm facing a problem deploying the LiveCycle components (jar files), all files are successfully deployed except for (adobe-launchpad-assets.lca).

I get an error "failed to deploy LCA /opt/adobe/adobe_livecycle_es2/deploy/adobe-launchpad-assets.lca"

 

I also get another error for (adobe-auditworkflow-dsc.jar), saying that it is deployed but not running.

I tried solving the problem by restarting the application server and re-deploy the jar files, but no luck.

 

If there's anything else I should be providing, please just tell me what it is and how i can find it.

Serial number for LiveCycle ES3 trial?

Hi,

 

I have downloaded the LiveCycle ES3 trial however when I go to install, I am asked for a serial number and cannot proceed until I have entered one.

 

I can find a serial number for the ES2 trial but it doesn't work with ES3 and I cannot find one anywhere!

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't uninstall Livecycle - Windows installer package error when uninstalling error 1722

I'm having issues uninstalling Livecycle.

I am getting Error 1722. There is a problme with the windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.

Has anyone else had this issue?

If so, how do I then uninstall this software?

Livecycle ES4 could not access CQ welcome page

I have installed Livecycle ES4 on Linux following the install guide provided. I was at the step of verifying Post-deployment tasks. All the following web browser URL worked except URL below. 

 

5.1.3.3  Accessing CQ Welcome Page  - [http://[hostname]:[port]:/lc/welcome | http://[hostname]:[port]:/lc/welcome]

 

 

5.1.3.5  Change CQ Administrator default password - http://....../lc/libs/granite/security/content/admin.html

 

 

5.2.3 Access HTML Workspace - http://...../lc/ws

 

 

5.2.4 Access Forms Manager - http://..../lc/fm

 

I got the following message on error.log

 

org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpContext handlesSecurity: AuthenticationSupport service missing. Cannot authenticate request.

 

org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpdContext handleSecurity: Possible reason is missing Repository service. Check AuthenticationSupport dependencies.

 

And web browser URL not working above all gave out the error text message:-

 

AuthenticationSupport service missing. Cannot authenticate request.

Downloaded 60 day trial version of LiveCycle ES4 but cannot complete install; requires a serial number that I can not find for trial version

I am an adobe user for our schools.  I wanted to try LiveCycle ES4 to create forms.  Through Adobe, I found a trial version for 60 days.  I downloaded the file, unzipped it, and began the install process.  The install process requires a serial number, Does anyone have the temporary serial number so that I can proceed?  Thank you.  Patricia Thomas

Hi,

I am a Mac user, using Yosemite version 10.10.5. I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.008.20082.  "CoolType error 'CT bad param: invalid glyphID'.pop up every time I try to fill in a word in a form , anyone can help me solve the problem. Thanks
